Facility Usage

The district's facilities are available for rent by parents and community patrons. Community patrons used district facilities a total of 80,801 hours during the 2010-11 school year. High schools were rented for 3,457 hours and middle schools were used 21,277 hours by the public. Elementary schools were used a total of 55,557 hours. The remaining 510 rental hours were at the two athletic complexes, Heartland Early Childhood Center and the performing arts center at Millcreek Center.

An online request service is available at http://facilityusage.olatheschools.com/furm_requests_PU//. When submitting a Web service rental request, you must login initially as a new user. After the Facility Usage Department receives your initial request, an email will be sent to you including your user name (ID code) and password. These will allow you to login and submit future requests as an existing user. After processing and approval of your request(s), you will receive a confirmation email with an attachment of your scheduled activities. If you would like to visit our office, we are located at 1500 W. Highway 56 in Olathe, in the district's Operations Service Center. Summer office hours (June and July) are 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Office hours after Aug. 1, will be 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
