Families Learning in Partnership (F.L.I.P.)
The program actively involves families of young children, pre-kindergarten through third grade, at our Title 1 and English Language Learners (ELL) sites, in supporting the development of reading skills. Evening sessions provide ideas and demonstrations of valuable learning activities parents can implement in the home. Learning materials and resources are provided at sessions to use at home. The project facilitator can be reached at the Instructional Resource Center, (913) 780-8160.
Elementary schools offering F.L.I.P. are Central, Countryside, Fairview, Havencroft, Indian Creek, Northview, Regency Place, Ridgeview, Rolling Ridge, Tomahawk, Washington and Westview.
